Burpless Fish Oil Pills – Are They For Real?

by Michael Byrd

Yuck! Who wouldn't want burpless fish oil pills?

A lot of people think the taste of fish is great with a tuna sandwich or a fancy trout dinner. But nobody likes that sudden concentrated fishy belch of fish oil pills.

This raw fish after-taste keeps some people away from experiencing the many extraordinary health and feel-good benefits of omega 3 fatty acids from fish. And that's a shame!

However, there's an easy solution to this problem.

The truth is it's not the capsules – it's you. But don't worry, you're easy to fix. And fixing you is the only real solution.

What's more, finding burpless fish oil pills that work is a marketing myth. Those that are sold as "burpless" either provide less of the good-for-you fatty acids or try to mask the taste with citrus flavors.

But these are just sales gimmicks for inferior omega 3 products.

When you persistently belch the taste after taking fish oil capsules, your body is trying to tell you something's wrong with your digestion.

If this is the case, changing to a whole food diet (which naturally provides more enzymes), eating more regular meals and cutting down on coffee and sodas will help your digestion work better.

For the majority of people, burping the taste of fish happens because they just don't eat enough fish in the first place.

The human body is amazing. If you don't eat fish regularly, in order to preserve resources, your body stops making the specific enzymes necessary to digest fish.

Once you start eating fish on a regular basis or taking fish oil capsules, your body begins making those enzymes. And before you know it, there's no more burping the taste of fish.

Most of the time, it really is this simple and usually only takes about 3 to 4 days. We call this the "get over it and take it anyway" method.

Now some people have a pre-existing condition that doesn't allow them to manufacture all the enzymes they need. It's not a life-threatening situation, just an inconvenience.

But there's hope for these people with the "freezer" method. The "freezer" method is quite simple and works for everyone who tries it.

Freeze your capsules and take them frozen just before going to bed. The only hard part is remembering. So I suggest you leave the empty bottle somewhere to remind yourself to do it.

You can keep searching for burpless fish oil pills if you want, but you'll never find any that give you the great fish oil health benefits available to you. And while you're searching, your health will suffer.

Burpless and good health benefits is a combination that never goes together. You'd be better off starting on good quality fish oil capsules and temporarily carrying mints to wipe out the taste. But, not to worry.

In just a few days the burping will stop and feeling great will begin!
